One of the most famous sights is Mikrolimano, a picturesque marina full of fish taverns, cafés, and restaurants, with a wonderful view of the sea. Equally impressive is Pasalimani (Zea Marine), where visitors can take a pleasant walk by the water and enjoy the atmosphere of the busy port, as well as try good food at the many restaurants and taverns located around the marina, combining the view with gastronomic delights. For history buffs, the Archaeological Museum of Piraeus houses important exhibits from the ancient Greek era, while the Hellenic Maritime Museum showcases the country's rich naval tradition. The Municipal Theatre of Piraeus, a neoclassical architectural masterpiece that serves as the city's cultural centre, is also worth a visit. Kastella, one of the area's most charming neighbourhoods, offers a magnificent view towards the Saronic Gulf and is ideal for walks among old, picturesque alleyways. Finally, the Veakeio Theatre hosts a multitude of cultural events and concerts during the summer, while the church of Agia Triada (Holy Trinity), which dominates the area near the port, is an impressive temple with a rich history and unique architecture.
