Lagonisi, a coastal area in Attica falling under the Municipality of Saronikos, enhances the beauty of the Athenian Riviera. Originally known as "Kalyvia Paralias," it was renamed after the homonymous Lagonisi Peninsula. The central hub of the area is Kalyvion Avenue, serving as the primary commercial street that links the beach to the Kalyvion community. Right after the peninsula, you'll find Kiteza Beach, complete with a small bar and natural shade from tamarisk trees, perfect for travelers looking to relax on the sand. Nearby is another small beach known as "Lagonissi Bay" (Bus stop: Pefko (number bus: 122), characterized by its coarse sand and small stones. The crystal-clear sea attracts crowds, but finding shade can be challenging. If you prefer shade, it's advisable to bring an umbrella.
