Beyond the landmark rock formation known as Trypes Karamanli, one arrives at the outskirts of Agia Marina. This charming settlement extends to kilometers 32-34 on Athens Sounio Avenue. The area was originally named Alykos, and evidence of this name remains in the well of Alykos on Thiseos Street. Over time, a church in the area became a focal point, attracting permanent residents. Today, Agia Marina is a tranquil and sparsely populated village that stretches up to three kilometers from Kropias Avenue.
